Health coaches specialise in behaviour change to improve your health and wellbeing. We support our clients to discover their own motivations and goals. We develop next steps and together, overcome the obstacles so you can achieve what you want.

We can also implement protocols that have either been prescribed by a doctor or dietitian or help with something that our clients have chosen to implement on their own. But in essence, to know what health coaching is, you need to experience it for yourself, and I’m happy to give you that opportunity.
I am currently a student. In May 2021, I will be certified as an ADAPT Functional Health Coach. I’m training in several disciplines that can empower you to create your own solutions, trust your wisdom and strengthen your vision.

- An ancestral approach to diet: Health is not the absence of disease but includes community, connection, play as well as nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress management.

Health coaching is a relatively new profession, and the practice continues to grow. The field of health coaching has become increasingly sophisticated with new findings in neuroscience as it draws from a growing body of evidence-based coaching, positive psychology, self-determination theory, adult development theory, motivational interviewing (MI), transtheoretical model, appreciative inquiry, and nonviolent communication.
Please note: health coaches do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide psychological therapeutic interventions. We don't fix you, or tell you what do you. We work with you and give you space to unlock your potential, decide what you want in your life and how to achieve it.
Coaching is a great avenue to pursue if you have an idea or objective in mind for something you would like to achieve or overcome in your life, but aren’t sure exactly how to get there. If there are behaviours you want to change or improve but lack the structure and motivation to do it, coaching is a great resource.
These coaching sessions are usually 45min. It can be an individual or a group session, and we can do it through online platforms like Zoom or in-person keeping the safety COVID guidelines in place. The first session is free. It’s called a discovery session, where you find out if this is for you and we are a match. Thereafter, while in training, I’ll ask a small fee per session to give you a stake in this investment.
